How to use power meter and light source
How to test link loss via power meter and light source?
1) Turn on the power meter and light source.
2) Connect power meter and light source via patch cord.
3) Select the wavelength of light source and then choose the power.
meter’s wavelength accordingly. The absolute power will show on the screen.
4) Press “Zero” key on the power meter’s keypad,the screen will show "-00.00dB" in the screen.
5) Pull out the patch-cord from power meter port and connect it with under test patch-cord via adapter.
It will show the relative power or link loss in the screen.
