MS600 Fiber Optic End Face Polishing Machine
At present, the optical fiber splicing mainly includes fusion splicing and mechanical splicing. MS600 fiber end face polishing machine can improve the performance of mechanical splicing and completely replace the splicing machine in the installation and maintenance of fiber project.

Among its plenty of features, it can automatically judge the status of fiber cutting end face, automatically focus and position—adopting ceramic ferrule positioning with 2um positioning accuracy, and automatically compensate for influence caused by the environment changes (temperature and humidity) and the worn electrodes.  It completely avoids the situations, such as over discharge, under discharge, end face eccentricity and fiber coarsening caused by manual operation and V-groove positioning. 

The basic principle of fiber end arc polishing is to polish the fiber end surface by high-pressure and high-temperature arc, smooth the end surface burr, sharp edges and corners, but not to melt the end surface to avoid fiber coarsening. Adopting ceramic ferrule connector with standard aperture has better concentricity and better repeated plugging parameters.

When tested with 1550nm wavelength and G657A1 fiber, its insertion loss is less than 0.2dB and its return loss is more than 50dB. It is suitable for all environments. The long-term mechanical splicing parameters are excellent.
